The South Dakota Enhanced Conceal carry permit class (SD Enhanced CCW) will cover use of force and laws while granting you reciprocity in 38 states once you've received your permit. The class does include live fire and we will demonstrate the difference between "marksmanship" and defensive marksmanship.  These are eye opening differences and drills to practice if you plan on carrying a firearm.  After You have completed this course you will finish the application with the Sheriffs office in your county.  There is NO LONGER any additional state fees for acquiring  your permit. There is also a small range fee of $12 that will be paid to the range for use of facility's.

I would highly recommend the USCCA reciprocity app.  You are able to enter the states that you have permits in and see what states honor your permits.  The best part is that you can see each states restrictions and allowances at a click of a button.
